Nowhere Man

There are places John won’t remember

A curious thing I found while walking in Etterbeek
A plaque on a building in Etterbeek claims that ‘In 1965, John Lennon could have stayed in this house if, during the Beatles’ European Tour, he had passed through Etterbeek’.

Yearly visions - Top 9 non-2024 films I watched in 2024

Where I am summoned to take another look back at 2024

The poster for Shinichiro Ueda's comedy *One Cut of the Dead*
A proposed post topic has crossed over from Tumblr thanks to Jo’s Blog, then Sara suggested that, as a frequent participant to the IndieWeb Movie Club, I could be interested in it. I loved Incantation again and there’s nothing anybody can do to stop me

The poster for Zelda Williams' debut film *Lisa Frankenstein*

(Anno Pauli). That would be a more faithful indication of how my film-viewing relates to my years of experience in life. But that would also expose, indirectly, my birth date every week, and I’m not super-comfortable with this. I’ll reflect longer about it.

Today my blog has something to say about this

I will miss David Lynch

I don’t remember the first time I heard about David Lynch.
It must have been around 1991 when the Italian private television channel Canale 5 started airing a TV show called I segreti di Twin Peaks. I didn’t watch it - it was aired late at night and I used to go to bed early. But nobody could ignore the question… Who killed Laura Palmer?
